The children’s ministry at Valley Community Church encompasses all children from birth to 5th grade. Our mission is to love on the children of Valley Community Church and teach them the Word of God, so they can grow spiritually and spread the Word of God with others. At Valley, our kids are our future! We strive to teach them about God and how to shine His love!
VALLEY KIDS (1st-5th grade)
Our Valley Kids meet together in the KidZone for Valley Kids Worship on Sunday mornings and Valley Kids Wednesdays on Wednesday nights. We focus on gaining Bible knowledge and figuring out how to apply it to our lives, while incorporating games, crafts, and activities for a fun learning atmosphere.
WEE WORSHIP (age 4-kindergarten)
Our Wee Worshipers meet together in our Wee Worship Area for Wee Worship on Sunday mornings and Wee Wednesdays on Wednesday nights. We use music, games, and crafts to reinforce what we learn in our Bible story and to figure out how God wants us to live.
NURSERY (birth-age 3)
Our Nursery is available for children 3 and under on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. We believe that even our youngest Valley Kids can learn and grow spiritually, so we make sure that they are given the opportunity to hear a Bible story and Bible-based music during their fun time of play and activities.
EVENTS
We hold special events, large and small, for our Valley Kids of all ages throughout the year. In addition to regularly scheduled events, our 1st-5th graders are given the opportunity to earn Valley Kids Points through attendance, bringing visitors, bringing their Bible, and memorizing our weekly Valley Verse. Once they meet a collective goal, they earn a special event that anyone is welcome to attend! Some of these past events have included a Messy Game Night, a Movie and Game Night, and trips to Organized Mass Chaos and Upsurge.
