CHRIS WADDELL

I am a child of the Living God, a husband to Jennifer, a father to Caleb (and his wife Katelin), Rachel, and Hannah. I have served my calling to ministry for more than 20 years. I completed my Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, and many outdoor sports. (I really enjoy being outdoors!)

I am so thankful to be serving in this time as Pastor here at Valley Church! This is an incredible faith family and they have embraced my family as their own!

BETHANY FIELDS

I have served as the Children’s Leader at Valley Community Church since November 2019. My heart is to see children develop a strong foundation in their knowledge of the Bible, learn to love and worship God, and most importantly come to know Jesus as their Savior. My love of working with young people also extends beyond the church. I teach dance and work with high school and collegiate dance lines and color guards in Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Shelby, and Sumter Counties. I also serve as a year-round volunteer with the West Alabama Operation Christmas Child Team. Other loves include (in no particular order) Crimson Tide football, France, my husband Matt, my sons Mason and Daniel, and my cat Comma the Wonder Kitty.

DANIEL HARKINS

Originally from the Mississippi Delta, I have been leading in youth and music ministry for 15 years. I am an avid sports enthusiast, especially Mississippi State baseball. I love camping and being outdoors with my wife, Kayla, and daughter, Sydney. I have a passion for serving families and my community, and desire to see God spark a revival in the Sipsey community.
