Our Servant Leadership Team is comprised of gifted people that have oversight in very specific areas of ministry. The SLT Team is made up of the heads of our ministry teams. Their primary functions are to streamline ministerial efforts, implement objectives and church goals, review and coordinate program plans recommended by ministry teams, and evaluate program achievements in terms of church goals and objectives.

The Pastor represents our Elder Team. The Elder Team watches over the members of the church as one who will give an account to God. They are responsible for guiding the mission and vision of the church, conflict resolution among members, appointment of ministerial and leadership positions, preaching and teaching, and supporting the various ministries of Valley through service and prayer.
BETHANY FIELDS – Children’s Ministry Director

The Children’s Team develops and implements a church-wide plan for the Children’s Ministry (ages birth-5th grade). They are responsible for planning and carrying out the annual calendar of events for the Children’s Ministry, including the weekly curriculum and special events.

The Youth Team develops and implements a church-wide plan for the Youth Ministry (grades 6-12). They are responsible for planning and carrying out the annual calendar of events for the Youth Ministry, including the weekly curriculum and special events.

The Worship Team develops and implements the weekly music and arts ministry of Valley. This team meets to plan, prepare, and pray for the weekly worship services.

The Deacon Team meets regularly and prayerfully to seek God’s guidance in ministering to the needs of the people and the distribution of support. These men bring order to the daily routine and flow of the church and the members therein. Every member family is assigned to a specific Deacon who should be your first point of contact when any needs or concerns arise.
RAY BURKHALTER – Discipleship Team Leader

The Discipleship Team works with the Men’s and Women’s Ministries and focuses on how to best provide specific opportunities for our church membership to grow spiritually. They coordinate and schedule our life groups and discipleship groups as well as other discipleship opportunities.
MELISSA ROBERTS – Missions Team Leader

The Missions Team coordinates opportunities for church members to serve both locally through Loving Sipsey, including our Love INC clothing distribution, and nationally/internationally through fundraisers and annual mission trips.
BRAD RAGSDALE – Maintenance Team Leader

The Maintenance Team is responsible for church security, general upkeep of the church buildings and grounds, as well as periodically organizing work days for members to help complete larger projects.
BILL DILLARD – Finance Team Leader
The Finance Team prayerfully prepares our Annual Family Ministry Plan and handles the general day-to-day financials for the church. It is primarily made up of Church Trustees.
